  What is Versioning?
 

IBackup retains previous versions of all files backed up to your account. Currently, you can restore 30 previous file versions to any location on your local computer.

  Does versioning (previous versions of files) impact the available quota (storage space in my account)?
 

Your available quota depends on the storage requirements of the most recent view of your data. Backup of older versions do require additional space, however, this is not charged to your usage. In other words versioning does not increase your storage requirement.

  How do I restore any particular version of a file via the IBackup application?
 

To restore any particular version of a file, follow the below steps:

1. On the 'My IBackup' pane of the IBackup application, right-click on the desired file and select the 'Version History' option from the list.

 


 

2. Select a particular version from the 'File Version' screen displayed and click on the 'Restore' tab.

3. Choose the restore destination on your local computer and click on 'Restore'

  Can I restore a previous version of my backed up file via the web?
 

To restore a previous version of a file via the web:

1. Login to your IBackup account using any browser.

2. On the Web-Manager main page click the 'Version' icon alongside the file that you wish to restore.

3. The 'Versions' screen is displayed. Select the desired version and click on the 'Download’ icon.

 


 

4. Choose the destination in your local computer to restore.
